Packing List:
(Please see our Southeast Asia Packing List we update a specific list for Cambodia and Thailand sometime in the Spring of 2023)

Our trip starts in Liberia where we land and head off to our farm stay in Tenorio Volcano National Park near Rio Celeste. Here we will be able to venture into the national park, visit Rio Celeste and its sky blue rapids and waterfalls, or relax at the amazing farm style accommodations. Be on the look out for tapirs, monkeys, anteaters, and other animals hiding in the jungle canopy. The farm produces chocolate so a highlight is a tour and demonstration of the chocolate harvesting and processing.
Next we head to Manuel Antonio for more monkey-business with another National Park to explore and beaches to comb. After that we explore another National Park and Unesco area, our founder’s favorite destination in Costa Rica, the Oso Peninsula and Corcovado National Park. The rainforest here is called the most biologically intense place on Earth and is the largest primary rainforest on the American Pacific Coastline. Dense rainforest jungles meet untouched, pristine beaches for a truly once in a lifetime experience. We will take trips into the jungle and over to Cano Island where scuba divers can add some amazing shipwreck diving to their adventures.

Trip Details:
We heard all of the requests and are so excited to announce this epic Glamping and Rafting Expedition in the wilds of Oregon! This trip will be co-lead by avid rafter, Kim Fix, and our founder, Laura. We have teamed up with one of the best rafting outfitters on the Umpqua and assure you that you will be well taken care of during the entire journey whether its one or two days you prefer on the water. Hikers are signing up as well, with some the best hiking trails in Oregon based in this area along Waterfall Row. Most travelers will join at the resort, however we plan to transport those flying in and will be departing from Ashland or Medford (ask about pricing and pick up times). This four day, three night trip officially begins at the resort at 4pm on Thursday, July 11. Optional dinner will be provided, or bring your own food to grill in the Pavilion Area we have reserved for the duration of our stay. For those who are up for a short trip to the local natural Hot Springs, we will head out before or after dinner (depending on everyone’s arrival times).
For rafters, days two and/or three will be spent all day rafting the fast, white water of the Umpqua River with the most rapids per mile in all of Oregon. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of this part of the PNW’s magical wilderness. The Upper Umpqua River region is quintessential Oregon known for its lush, mossy forests, towering cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to admire the stunning landscape and spot local wildlife along the way. Lunch will be included.
For hikers, a list and directions of local hikes to those same lush, mossy forests will be provided before the trip. Laura will lead hikes on Day 2 to three of the dozen of local waterfalls with another opportunity to visit the Hot Springs.
We spend three nights at Umpqua’s Last Resort, a quirky Glamping Resort with several levels of accommodations from Glamping Tents to Tiny Houses and Cabins to Retro RVs. Note that the Glamping Tents and tiny cabins have shared restrooms (brand new with heaters, showers, and flushing toilets.) An optional taco bar dinner on night one will be served at the Resort as will continental breakfasts if desired; lunches will be provided by the Rafting Guides; and dinners will be on our own at the Steamboat Lodge 10 miles up the road. After the trip, if you’ve opted for the transfer we will drop you at your vehicle in Ashland or at the airport in Medford (we can even arrange rides to Eugene Airport).
A wide variety of options for for three nights accommodation is available including Glamping Tent, tiny cabins, and furnished Retro RVs and pricing depends on which accommodation you wish to book and how many extras you decide to add to your package (see Pricing Grid). Note that a luxury lodge is located at Steamboat Lodge 10 miles down the road and we can assist you in pricing that for all or part of the trip, or before or after your time with us on this adventure.
A non refundable deposit of $175 is required to hold your first come, first served space.

We are thrilled to announce our third sober trip to Bali and Beyond departing September 12, 2024.
We begin our adventure in Ubud where we’ll spend four nights in mainland Bali’s spiritual and cultural hub. We will have a vast menu of optional activities to partake in on this itinerary designed to let you decide how you spend your time. You can either pre-book your adventures or just decide as you go and let our Tour Leader, Laura, know what you want to book and she’ll arrange it with our local team.
From Ubud, we will travel to the port on the east coast of Bali where we embark on a ferry boat journey to Gili Air, one of three Gili Islands of Lombok. The Gilis are surrounded by crystal clear turquoise water you’ve only dreamed of. We’ll spend three nights here, again at your pace. This is a mecca for divers, but snorkeling is top rate too, right off the beach. Renting a bike and exploring the small island is a great way to pass the day, or hop on a short boat ride to the other Gili Islands for lunch.
Next up, Nusa Lembongan, also part of a three island archipelago – part of Bali proper. Nusa Lembongan is laid back and chill. Again, diving and snorkeling are popular pastimes as well as yoga and strolls along the ocean. You can also take a day trip to Nusa Penida and visit the many famous Instagram locales there. After three nights, we head back to mainland Bali and Denpasar airport for your journey home.
As always, we’ve chosen the best accommodations available to ensure you are cozy and well cared for without breaking the bank. Our Bali Trips are our least expensive because we are able to cut out the middle man and curate the trips ourselves and use our local friend, Dewa, for transportation and logistics. We promise you will love this itinerary, crafted especially with a slow paced, spiritual journey in mind. The space is extremely limited on this trip with a wide range of accommodations available starting at $2,695 double occupancy* for our early bird bookings (before February 1, 2024). Single occupancy available; please inquire for pricing and room categories. Bookings confirmed in order of receipt of a $275 non refundable deposit. Send us a text at 562-212-0128 or send us an email via our contact form or DM.
*Prices are land/sea only without international air; optional activity pricing varies depending on activity.

Sure to sell out, so save your spot now. We are arranging this trip around the Meeting in Paradise Convention held every November. Once those dates are firm, we will put the finishing touches on this itinerary which will take us to Caye Caulker and San Ignacio (just to start with).

We will head back to SouthEast Asia for another annual Signature SERENITY IN SIAM Trip. Number SEVEN! This time we will venture deep into Laos, one of our founder’s favorite destinations.
With its history and diverse cultural heritage, Laos is a captivating destination that has long been a hidden gem in the region. Nestled between Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and China, Laos boasts a landscape characterized by lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and meandering rivers, including the mighty Mekong. The country’s serene and laid-back atmosphere invites travelers to explore ancient Buddhist temples, picturesque towns, and traditional markets. Though still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism, Laos offers an authentic and unique experience for those seeking a glimpse into Southeast Asia’s tranquil and captivating soul. This trip will end in Thailand since you will probably travel home from that direction anyway, so we’re adding a short hop over to Koh Kood, a true paradise of an island where travel is slow and easy. (This trip can be booked with or without the Koh Kood portion.)
This is a highly anticipated trip and we’ve crafted it to be like none other. Early Bird pricing ends January 26, 2023 – so contact us now to get this deal of $150 off tour price. This trip will sell out! Use the Get In Touch button to get signed up today or call 562-212-0128 to find out more!
